What happens to my waste or recycling after it’s collected?

Once collected it’s taken to one of our licensed waste transfer stations, here it is either processed to recover recyclable and reusable materials for reprocessing into new goods or other uses, or bulked for onward transport to a range of recycling, recovery or disposal facilities.
