Confidential shredding: How it works
Contact us to book your confidential data shredding whether it be a one-off data spring clean or a regular collection service.
You’ll be supplied with lockable bins or confidential shredding bags to ensure safe and compliant transfer to our shredding site.
The Datashred team will collect your documents and can shred them there and then using their dedicated mobile shredding vehicle, or securely transport your confidential documents to their shredding site in Devon
Each piece of paper is shredded to making sure sensitive information is unrecognisable and then it’s packed up for recycling. Their digital audit trail confirms each step of your confidential data’s journey with us.
Once complete you will be issued with a certificate of destruction.
Off-site confidential shredding
If you want to take your shredding off-site, Datashred’s secure collection operatives will come and collect from your site. They will supply confidential waste bags in advance and collect them when you’re ready. The industrial shredders reduce documents to unrecognisable shredded particles, ensuring complete data destruction.

One planet. One chance. Our vision is to maximise the recycling and recovery of resources and be market-leading in our commitment to sustainability.
For the last 30 years, we’ve been making recycling easy meaning you can achieve your sustainability goals while continuing to do what you do best. Each year we grow, but we stay true to our roots, looking after the businesses that make Devon the place it is.
Connecting with local communities and educating with our expert knowledge is a key practice at Coastal to secure a more sustainable future for all. As much as 80% of the things that go into general waste bins could be recycled. That waste is a resource in the wrong place but together we can get it right.
